Reclaimed Lumber

Here is an example of how different kinds of reclaimed lumber can be used:

These photos are of a tiny house we just finished for a client. The entire interior (walls, shelves, cabinet doors, closet and bath doors, upstairs floor, and ceiling are all southern pine reclaimed from 2 abandoned houses in Central Texas, both of them dating from 1910 – 1915.

We used original 3.25” pine flooring, 3” purlins, bead board, and 8-10” planks. The client is thrilled with the warmth of the interior light, especially at night.
